JJ Redick, born on June 24, 1984, was a standout basketball player from Roanoke, Virginia. He attended Cave Spring High School, where he was a two-time McDonald's All-American in 2001 and 2002.

College Career at Duke University

Redick played college basketball at Duke University from 2002 to 2006. As a freshman, he averaged 9.5 points per game and helped the Blue Devils reach the NCAA Elite Eight. By his senior year, he had become one of the most proficient shooters in college basketball, averaging 21.2 points per game and earning First Team All-ACC honors.

NBA Career Highlights

Redick was selected 11th overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2006 NBA Draft.
